By: Grady Harp Amazon Top 100 Reviewer

Format: Kindle Edition

"North Carolina author Mack `Cordell' Moore is a man who has struggled with depression, is a right wing fundamentalist evangelical Christian who has strong beliefs based on his religion. His poems offer here share these thoughts on a number of topics, virginity before marriage, gay relationships, and living a sin-free life. He states in his Introduction, `This book is dedicated to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The purpose of this small book of poems is to introduce the world to Jesus Christ. Whether a person believes in Him or not, I just want people to know why He loves us so much. I want people to learn more about Jesus as well as bring the love of God to people everywhere. My desire with this book is to strengthen or renew peoples' faith in God. I hope people will get encouraged and inspired by these poems. May God bless everyone who read these poems!"

Inspirational Poem: Heaven

Heaven

Heaven is the place where God dwells,
Let me rephrase that, in the hearts of believers and on the earth is where
God also dwells.
God is The Creator of heaven and hell,
But He created hell for the devil and those demons that rebelled.
They rebelled against God while in heaven as angels,
They are now referred to as demons or fallen angels.
God created hell to punish them,
But God created heaven for you and me my friend.
Heaven is a place with no death, disease, suffering, and pain,
So please trust in Jesus Christ the giver of eternal life
And The Comforter who brings comfort and takes away the pain.
Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven,
Jesus is God and He loves you my brethren.
The devil got kicked out of heaven and is now hell bound,
Please don't listen to Lucifer; he's trying to lead you away
From God and heaven and your heavenly crown.
Works can't get us to heaven,
Faith in Jesus is the way to heaven.
God the Father sent God the Son to die on the cross,
Through Jesus the work is done He died to save the lost.
Jesus rose from the grave to prepare a place for us in heaven,
So I beg of you allow Jesus into your heart and you can have heaven.
God never intended for us (mankind) to die,
Satan hates mankind and is a thief and murderer
This is true and not a lie.
Heaven isn't segregated,
Heaven is fully integrated.
Whatever our skin color or race,
Heaven is a place made for the human race.
Whether we are rich or from the suburbs,
Or whether we are poor or from the ghetto,
Jesus Christ has an open invite to follow
Him to heaven where there are many mansions prepared for those willing
To trust in Him till we leave this earth.
So may I ask, do you want eternal peace and rest
And to be forever blessed?
Then trust in Jesus, Son of God and you can have heaven.
He loves you dearly and He's the way to heaven my brethren.

Poem: Just Listen !!!

Just Listen!!!
Just listen is all I ask
Just listen is one little task.
I'm not a loud talker so please be quiet
Just listen to me please a moment of silence.
So I can share with you my thoughts and desires,
About life and Christ who's the Messiah.
About Christ who died on the cross
To save us sinners who are also lost.
To redeem us by shedding His blood
He did it out of love.
He descended from up above
To offer us peace and love like a dove.
And He rose three days later
To prepare a place in heaven for us which is much greater.
So I hope while we are on earth
That we realize that to Christ we are priceless which is our worth.
So please just do one little task,
Just listen to me is all I ask.

What does the bible say about tattoos?

Introduction

People have gotten tattoos for a variety of reasons, but one of the most notable ones is to honor a loved one. Did you know the bible speaks against getting tattoos? Yes it does. Leviticus 19:28: "Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the Lord." The phrase "print any marks upon you" is a reference to tats, or tattoos. Tattoos have always been associated with devil worship.

Why would God forbid this act?

Those who believe in Jesus Christ are called to be witnesses for Him. We are to stand apart from the world, not engage in sin with them. Yet getting tats are one of the many ways we believers of Christ have acted like the world. Remember, followers of Jesus are supposed to be His temple. 1 Corinthians 3:16-17: "(16) Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? (17) If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are." 1 Corinthians 6:19-20: (19) What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? (20) For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's." 2 Corinthians 6:16: "And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people."

The purpose of posting those last couple of bible passages is to show you that believers of God, individually, and as a whole, are the temple of God. He wants us to be holy and act accordingly in our daily living. We were bought with a price. We belong to God.

Notable Celebs with Tats

Warning: if you are a fan of Eminem or not ready for the truth, then DO NOT click the link you are not ready.

(Kobe Bryant)

(Machine Gun Kelly)

(Ke$ha making a satanic gesture with the one-eye tat)

(Angelina Jolie)

(Rihanna making a devilish gesture with the Shhh tat.)
This gesture symbolizes the false god (demon) Harpocrates.

(Miley Cyrus with an "evil eye" tat) Note: an evil eye don't ward off evil spirits, but invites then in. The only way to fight evil is with God and His Word.

(Katy Perry) She's actually mocking God with her Jesus tat. John 4:24: "God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth." So no pics of Jesus, no tats of Jesus, no statues of Jesus, not even a Jesus piece. Those are idols. God forbids idols. Jesus is to be worshipped in spirit and in truth. Note: when we "idolize" celebs & athletes we are guilty of idolatry because only God is to be worshipped.

(Nicki Minaj)

Conclusion

To conclude, the bible forbids followers of Christ from getting tattoos. Our bodies are to be a temple for the Holy Ghost. Tattoos are a satanic form of expression. Since the bible forbids us from getting them, then getting them is being disobedient to God. This was expressed under the Law, but the Law didn't save anyone. It was a schoolmaster to lead us to Jesus, the Messiah. Galatians 3:24: "Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith." Christ died on the cross not to end the Law, but to fulfill it. Matthew 5:17: "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil." See Christ didn't come to destroy the Law but fulfill it. He was sent to complete a task or should I say the Promise. This promise was for Christ to die on the cross for the sins of the world. A person can now receive salvation if they accept Christ as Lord and Savior. It's about faith in the Messiah. So a believer of Christ is now under grace, the law of the Spirit (Holy Spirit). Romans 8:2: "For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death."

So just because believers of God are under grace, it's still wrong to commit adultery, steal, kill, get tats, etc. Please take heed to this message. God bless.

Two Interesting Books I've Read!

On this blog, I will occasionally give book reviews. Here are a couple of books I've read that to me are must reads! The two books: "In His Way" by Rebecca Duvall and "The Five Negro Presidents" by: J. A. Rogers.

I want to start off first with my thoughts on "In His way" by: Rebecca Duvall. I will not give any spoilers because I want people to read it for themselves. "In His Way" is a very inspirational book. The author, Mrs. Duvall writes about the trials and tribulations that she's been dealing with in her personal life. The title talks about how she used to be "In His (God's) Way" but now she's letting God use her. There's something a lot of us Christians, and even Christians can learn by reading her book. Whether Christian or not, people will be inspired by reading this book. One thing  I was reminded by while reading this book is...that with Jesus there's always hope!

Here are a few links to her books:

"The Five Negro Presidents" is a book that will open the eyes of those who read it. This book was recommended to me by someone I know. So I decided to buy it. I was curious. Could this be possible? Obama wasn't the first black President? Who is covering up this lie from the masses and why? This book was written by J. A. Rogers, a black journalist, in 1965. Yes I said it, originally published in 1965! So when the Civil Rights Movement was going on, this book was in existence? The book like the title says, chronicles the stories of 5 U.S. Presidents that had black/African ancestry. One of the men was even quoted, by reporters, as saying "who knows one of my ancestors may have jumped the fence" when asked about his possible black ancestry. I recommend this book for all regardless of race! Four of these men are named in the book, but I don't want to give away spoilers. All I will say is a couple of men who signed the Declaration of Independence are believed to have had black ancestry. Most of the men mentioned in this book, if not all, are well known. The 5th man is not mentioned in this book by name. Why is that? There could be possible theories. I know the unnamed 5th man was still living at the time the book was originally released. The other 4 were deceased. I hope that didn't spoil it for you. I desire everyone to read "The Five Negro Presidents". Get it today!

Is Santa Satan?

Yes the story of Santa Claus mocks God and His Word. There are passages in the bible that confirm this. Did you know that Santa borrowed the Ho, Ho, Ho, greeting from Jesus Christ? Zechariah 2:6: "Ho, ho, come forth, and flee from the land of the north, saith the Lord: for I have spread you abroad as the four winds of the heaven, saith the Lord." Doesn't it seem strange that a supposedly fictional person would need to borrow from someone real, in this case God? This is not the only scripture where Santa mocks God and His Word. Santa wears a red suit. Did you know that Jesus will wear a red suit at His second coming? Revelation 19:13: "And he was clothed with a vesture(robe) dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God."

There are other scriptures that Santa mocks Christ and the bible. Yet we Christians teach children to worship him and we ourselves worship Santa Claus. Didn't Satan get kicked out of heaven for trying to be like God? Yet we as Christian teach the children to believe in Santa? I thought salvation comes from believing in Jesus Christ. John 3:16: "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

Tough Lessons from the Bible

Inspirational Poem: Feeling Good About Yourself (Self-Esteem)

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder,
That beholder is God.
God made all of us (mankind) beautiful
We all come in different shapes, sizes, and colors.
The multiple skin tones of people are beautiful.

From the lovely milky skin to the lovely dark chocolate
And the beautiful skin tones in between.
Why should we compare ourselves to others?
When God gave us distinct looks that makes us different.
Please people; stop looking at worldly magazines

With all those thin people in them.
That's just one view of beauty.
Please people; stop listening to vain people like me

Giving you a one-way view of what's beautiful
We are not all meant to be the same size
Some of us are meant to be thinner than others
Some of us are meant to be bigger than others

This doesn't make us ugly
It means that we are all lovely
Please people, avoid plastic surgery

If you don't need it for medical reasons, don't do it
I have not seen a person, who has had it,

That has improved their looks.
They were actually more beautiful before the surgery
I know why people do this though
Because they are unhappy

And have low self-esteem.
I know a person who can help
Jesus Christ is this person.
Jesus can be your sunshine after the rain
He can bring you joy through all the pain.

He can help you feel good about yourself
It seems He can give you high self-esteem
So I ask you to try Jesus Christ,
The best option to bring happiness to your life.

Poem: As Real as the Wind

God is real, like the wind.
You can't see the wind,
But you can definitely feel the wind and its effects.
You can't see God, but you can definitely feel God
Move.
However, you can see God through believers,
I mean mature believers.
You can see Him through the actions and lives of mature believers.
In past examples, He appeared physically before people.
For example, He appeared before Moses as a flaming bush.
He appeared before Abraham with two angels.
He appeared before Jacob and allowed Himself
To be wrestled with by Jacob to see how bad Jacob wanted to be blessed.
So He blessed Jacob and changed his name to Israel,
Which means "Prince with God".
Another example was that He took the form of a man And came to this world
In the person of Jesus Christ.
Jesus is more than a name.
It means "Jehovah Saves".
He came to this world to offer and sacrifice His life for our sins.
Those that believe in Jesus will be saved and go to Heaven.
So in conclusion, God is real, as real as the wind.

Inspirational Poem: Please Don't Do It (Jesus Loves You)

Hey there how you doing?
Can I talk to you for a second?
This can be on or off the record.
I can sense and tell that you are suffering.
By the look in your eyes I can see you are not bluffing.
I may not know or understand fully with what you’re going through,
But I can tell you are hurting.
I hope you don’t do what I think you may do.
Please don’t commit suicide.
I may not know exactly what you are going through.
I know someone who does.
Jesus Christ is His name.
He went through many sufferings while here on earth.
He had His beard torn out; He was beaten with a whip with sharp bone tips embedded.
He was spat on, ridiculed, and He was nailed to a cross.
So Jesus knows all about pain.
He suffered on the cross so that eternal life you may gain.
He died on the cross for people like you and me.
Before I go on, I must say that all sins are forgivable by God except blasphemy against The Holy
Ghost.
Blasphemy against The Holy Ghost is a deliberate rejection of Jesus Christ, God, His offer of salvation, and The Holy Ghost.
Now the point is that although suicide is a sin, it’s a forgivable sin.
If anyone teaches that suicide is an unforgivable sin is teaching an outright lie from Satan.
Samson in Judges 16:28-31 committed suicide by killing himself alongside a few thousand Philistines (enemies of Israel).
Samson in Hebrews 11:32 is mentioned as a champion of faith.
Now I don’t condone suicide, but all sins (including suicide) are forgivable by God except one, blasphemy against The Holy Ghost.
I also want to say that the devil hates humanity and will do any thing to make people’s lives miserable and will use anyone close to us to attack us.
As I said earlier, I may not know what you are dealing with, but Jesus did get me through depression.
Oh yes, Jesus has brought me a long way and has helped me through some tough times.
My depression was a rough period of my life.
Life wasn’t working out as I had hoped and for at least seven years I was depressed.
All I wanted to do was hang out late, get drunk, and mope around and complain about everything.
I was also a very negative person back then.
It was Jesus who reached way down to pick me up and to give me strength during those tough times.
Jesus got me out of my depression.
Jesus is the calm in the storms of my life.
That’s why I am asking you to try Jesus.
He is The Comforter that will give you comfort.
He’s the God of peace that will give you peace in a turbulent world.
He will be your best friend if you let Him in your heart and your life.
In other words, Jesus will love you always.
So please don’t end your life because Jesus loves you.

This poem encourages people who are depressed and suicidal. This poem was featured in the August 2014 issue of Joy magazine out of South Africa. This poem is apart of the poetry chapbook "Cordell's Poems of Spiritual Inspiration: Second Edition" which is available as an ebook and paperback.

Interesting Bible Facts Most People Don't Know!

The bible is an incredible and powerful book. It's the Word of God. It is informative and yet can be helpful and encouraging. With that said, there are some facts in the bible unbeknownst to most people, even Christians.

(1) God loves to eat.

Although at first glance it may appear that I'm joking or trying to be funny I'm not. Did you know that the pre-incarnate Christ communed with Abraham? Genesis 18:1-8 (1) And the Lord appeared unto him in the plains of Mamre: and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day; (2) And he lift up his eyes and looked, and, lo, three men stood by him: and when he saw them, he ran to meet them from the tent door, and bowed himself toward the ground, (3) And said, My Lord, if now I have found favor in thy sight, pass not away, I pray thee, from thy servant: (4) Let a little water, I pray you, be fetched, and wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree: (5) And I will fetch a morsel of bread, and comfort ye your hearts; after that ye shall pass on: for therefore are ye come to your servant. And they said, So do, as thou hast said. (6) And Abraham hastened into the tent unto Sarah, and said, Make ready quickly three measures of fine meal, knead it, and make cakes upon the hearth.  (7) And Abraham ran unto the herd, and fetched a calf tender and good, and gave it unto a young man; and he hasted to dress it. (8) And he took butter, and milk, and the calf which he had dressed, and set it before them; and he stood by them under the tree, and they did eat." In Genesis 18, the Lord Jesus, with two angels appear before Abraham. Abraham and others prepare them a meal which they ate. Also Jesus reminds Abraham and Sarah about the promise of a child. Also Jesus lets Abraham know that Sodom and Gomorrah will be judged for its sins. The two angels carry out God's order for judgment while Jesus continues to commune with Abraham. Yes this passage says three men, but Abraham calls one of them Lord as in Lord God.

John 21:9-13: "(9) As soon then as they were come to land, they saw a fire of coals there, and fish laid thereon, and bread. (10) Jesus saith unto them, Bring of the fish which ye have now caught. (11) Simon Peter went up, and drew the net to land full of great fishes, an hundred and fifty and three: and for all there were so many, yet was not the net broken. (12) Jesus saith unto them, Come and dine. And none of the disciples durst ask him, Who art thou? knowing that it was the Lord. (13) Jesus then cometh, and taketh bread, and giveth them, and fish likewise." There are other passages where Christ, Son of God eats food. Remember God made us (mankind) in His own image. So should it be surprising that like God we too love to eat?

(2) The bible bans Christmas trees.

Jeremiah 10:1-5: "(1) Hear ye the word which the Lord speaketh unto you, O house of Israel: (2) Thus saith the Lord, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them. (3) For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. (4) They deck (decorate) it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not. (5) They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go, Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good." Deuteronomy 12:2-3: "(2) Ye shall utterly destroy all the places wherein the nations ye shall possess served their gods, upon the high mountains, and upon the hills, and under every green tree: (3) And ye shall overthrow their altars, and break their pillars, and burn their groves with fire; and ye shall hew down the graven images of their gods, and destroy the names of them out of that place." Christians are not to use Christmas trees at all. We are not to put things under them either. It's idolatry and it mocks God and His Word. Note: Christmas is not to be celebrated by Christians either. The holiday honors Satan, not God. December 25th is not the birthdate of Christ. Whose birthday is it? Find out by reading my book "Tough Lessons from the Bible".

(3) The bible teaches righteous judgment.

There are far too many Christians that think that we are not to judge. It's because we have misinterpreted the bible. Matthew 7:1-2: "(1) Judge not, that ye be not judged. (2) For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again." Matthew 7:1-5 as well as other passages on judgment Christians have misinterpreted. It doesn't mean we are to not judge at all. We are not to judge in a condemning way or based upon predjudices without having all the facts. Only God has that right because He's all-knowing (omniscient). I used to think we are not to judge until the Holy Spirit opened my eyes. John 7:24: "Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment." Now here we have a passage which Christ Himself is speaking. To judge righteous judgment is to speak the truth which all Christians have that right and authority. Why do you think John the Baptist was beheaded? He judged righteously by telling King Herod it was wrong of him to marry his brother's wife. Remember Stephen was stoned to death by speaking to unbelieving Jews about Christ. Do people not know that believers of Christ shall someday judge angels?

(4) Man shall someday judge angels.

Yes the bible does speak on this. 1 Corinthians 6:2-3: "(2) Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?  (3) Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?" Christians have been blinded and duped by Satan into thinking we are not to judge at all when we will judge the world and angels someday. My advice to my fellow Christians, read the bible for yourselves.

(5) Unbelievers first used the term Christian.

Acts 11:26: "And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves together with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch." Contrary to what most Christians think, the term Christian first came from unbelievers. It was first used as a derogatory word referring to followers of Christ. Actually the word occurs only 3 times in the bible: Acts 11:26; Acts 26:28; 1 Peter 4:16.

(6) Enoch preached about the 2nd coming of Jesus before Noah was even born.

Jude 14-16: (14) And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, (15) To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all who are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him. (16) These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men's persons in admiration because of advantage." Although Jude is a New Testament passage, Jude 14-16 is taken from the non canonical book of Enoch. Enoch came before Noah and the flood. Yet, Enoch preached about the 2nd coming of Jesus before Noah, the Ark, and the flood. Enoch preached about the 2nd coming of Christ many centuries before Christ' 1st Advent, in which he took on human flesh to die for our sins.

(7) Hell is eternal destruction.

There are some false teachings about Hell not being eternal and the fire isn't everlasting. Where are these people getting their info? Satan? Are they misguided or false prophets? Hell is eternal destruction and the fire is eternal. The bible says so. Jesus spoke on Hell Himself. Put your trust in Jesus and His bible, not man.

Matthew 13:41-42, 50: "(41) The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;  (42) And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.  (50) And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth."  Matthew 25:41, 46: "(41) Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:  (46) And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal."

I wanted to post these verses to let the people know that Hell is eternal. The fire is everlasting as mentioned in the bible. Believers just die once, with a few exceptions like Lazarus, and others raised from the dead by Christ. Death is the separation of body from spirit. When Jesus comes back He will give His followers glorified bodies similar to His. Our bodies will rejoin with our spirits and we will be transformed with a new body. On the other hand, unbelievers, those who die rejecting Christ, will be cast into Hell. They will die the 2nd death. The second death is that the body, spirit. and soul, in other words the complete person, will be separated from God (Father, Son, and Holy Ghost) forever. This is sad because Jesus created Hell for the devil and his angels (demons) as punishment for rebelling against God. To any unbeliever who wonders why God will do this. Simple God gives everyone freewill. So we have the freewill to accept His Son Jesus as Lord and Savior or to reject Him. God does not force Himself on anyone. There is a reward for believing in Christ before you die...eternal life. There is a consequence for rejecting Christ before you die....eternal destruction in Hell.

So please I ask you to open your heart and accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Have a blessed day.

Christians Have the Right to Judge Righteously

First, I will say that the bible does say that we are not to judge, but not in a condemning way. Matthew 7:1-2, "Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again." Yeah Matthew 7:1-11 basically teaches us to judge not, in a condemning way. God is the only judge. Deuteronomy 32:36, "For the Lord shall judge his people, and repent himself for his servants, when he seeth that their power is gone, and there is none shut up, or left.

Now I hope those of you that read this please understand. God has given us(Christians) the right and authority to judge(in a righteous way or speak the truth). John 7:24, "Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment." Do you know who said that? Jesus Christ Himself was saying that to all Christians, past, present and future. Let me give an example of the difference between judging in a condemning way and then a righteous way. Example: say you know someone that does not believe in Christ, but yet they are somehow your friend. Here's how not to judge. "You are going to hell", now that statement is out of line and judging in a condemning way. Now here's righteous judgment...."You are on your way to hell if you don't accept Christ as your Lord and Savior before you die." Now it seems like I said the same thing twice but reread that again. I actually didn't. We don't know who will end up in hell or not, only God does. However we do know that Christ is the only way to heaven (John 14:6) and that if a person dies not believing in Christ then they end up in hell in which hell will be thrown into the lake of fire.

Do you not know that through Christ we (Christians) shall judge angels and the world? 1 Corinthians 6:2-3, "(2) Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters? (3) Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?" Of course certainly we should always examine ourselves before we judge righteous judgment. We should most certainly and ask The Holy Spirit in how we should go about righteous judgment as well, but we (Christians) do have the right to judge(righteous judgment). I just wanted all of you to know that because the devil is tricky and he will use "his servants" to confuse us and having us think that we don't have the right to judge at all which is untrue. A worldly Christian and unsaved people will try to attack us with that in a heartbeat so that they can continue to live an ungodly life. So the next a person says that we can't judge. Tell them that God is the only judge and yet He has given us (Christians) the right and authority to judge (righteous judgment) not condemnation. God bless all who read this.
