"North Carolina author Mack `Cordell' Moore is a man who has struggled with depression, is a right wing fundamentalist evangelical Christian who has strong beliefs based on his religion. His poems offer here share these thoughts on a number of topics, virginity before marriage, gay relationships, and living a sin-free life. He states in his Introduction, `This book is dedicated to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The purpose of this small book of poems is to introduce the world to Jesus Christ. Whether a person believes in Him or not, I just want people to know why He loves us so much. I want people to learn more about Jesus as well as bring the love of God to people everywhere. My desire with this book is to strengthen or renew peoples' faith in God. I hope people will get encouraged and inspired by these poems. May God bless everyone who read these poems!"
