Christians Have the Right to Judge Righteously

First, I will say that the bible does say that we are not to judge, but not in a condemning way. Matthew 7:1-2, "Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again." Yeah Matthew 7:1-11 basically teaches us to judge not, in a condemning way. God is the only judge. Deuteronomy 32:36, "For the Lord shall judge his people, and repent himself for his servants, when he seeth that their power is gone, and there is none shut up, or left.

Now I hope those of you that read this please understand. God has given us(Christians) the right and authority to judge(in a righteous way or speak the truth). John 7:24, "Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment." Do you know who said that? Jesus Christ Himself was saying that to all Christians, past, present and future. Let me give an example of the difference between judging in a condemning way and then a righteous way. Example: say you know someone that does not believe in Christ, but yet they are somehow your friend. Here's how not to judge. "You are going to hell", now that statement is out of line and judging in a condemning way. Now here's righteous judgment...."You are on your way to hell if you don't accept Christ as your Lord and Savior before you die." Now it seems like I said the same thing twice but reread that again. I actually didn't. We don't know who will end up in hell or not, only God does. However we do know that Christ is the only way to heaven (John 14:6) and that if a person dies not believing in Christ then they end up in hell in which hell will be thrown into the lake of fire.

Do you not know that through Christ we (Christians) shall judge angels and the world? 1 Corinthians 6:2-3, "(2) Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters? (3) Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?" Of course certainly we should always examine ourselves before we judge righteous judgment. We should most certainly and ask The Holy Spirit in how we should go about righteous judgment as well, but we (Christians) do have the right to judge(righteous judgment). I just wanted all of you to know that because the devil is tricky and he will use "his servants" to confuse us and having us think that we don't have the right to judge at all which is untrue. A worldly Christian and unsaved people will try to attack us with that in a heartbeat so that they can continue to live an ungodly life. So the next a person says that we can't judge. Tell them that God is the only judge and yet He has given us (Christians) the right and authority to judge (righteous judgment) not condemnation. God bless all who read this.
